Summit Fire & EMS responds to a 3rd wildfire in 2 weeks (Summit Daily News)

Summit Fire & EMS firefighters extinguished a small brush fire between Straight Creek and the Orofino condos in Dillon Valley on Saturday. They received support from the Summit County Sheriff's Office, Dillon Police Department and a safety officer from Breckenridge-based Red, White & Blue Fire. Also, some bystanders were throwing buckets of water on the fire. The burning occurred primarily in willows, and the fire was contained to about a 12-by-30 foot space.
