 In a county driven by outdoor recreation — often in remote, backcountry locations — Summit County’s first responders know the value of immediate and high-quality care. Through the county’s Search and Rescue Paramedic Program, they’re able to deliver both, no matter where an emergency occurs. The program, which started in 2018, brings together Summit Fire & EMS, the Summit County Rescue Group and the Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District to offer advanced medical care in remote locations across the county. Read more ...
