Fire investigators expected to reach Willow Fire origin to determine cause, as scorched area grows and containment hits 5% (Summit Daily News)

The Willow Fire is now at 4,150 acres in size and 5% containment. There are 628 personnel working the fire, and costs now total $6.9 million. U.S. Forest Service law enforcement officers and the Colorado fire investigation unit are expected to reach the point of origin and determine the cause of the fire in the next week. Read more ...
