The Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded alongside Summit Fire & EMS and U.S. Forest Service crewsto an wildfire on national forest land near Wildernest in Summit County on Sept. 19. The fire occurred south of Lilly Pad Trail, a road on the west side of Wildernest. No evacuations were considered, and crews contained the Lillie Pad Fire around 8:40 p.m. that night. Read more ...
