Firefighters in Summit County are conducting wildfire preparedness training this week aimed at helping homeowners better protect their properties before a fire starts. Summit Fire and EMS and Red, White and Blue Fire Protection District crews are visiting homes to assess wildfire risks and identify ways residents can create defensible space around their properties.
