NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Summit Fire EMS Fire Protection District anticipates that it will have ONE vacant Director's position beginning in June 2024. The Board is soliciting letters of interest from qualified individuals who would like to be considered for appointment to the vacant Director's position. 

In order to qualify for appointment, you must be registered to vote in the State of Colorado and either (1) be a resident of the District, or (2) own taxable real or personal property (or be the spouse or civil union partner of someone who owns taxable real or personal property) within the District's boundaries. 

Currently, the Board holds regular meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 8:45 or 9:00 A.M.  The meetings are currently held at the District's Administrative Headquarters, located at 0035 County Shops Road, Frisco, CO 80443. Periodic Director attendance by video also is permitted. The monthly Board meetings usually run between two and three hours, though meetings may be shorter or longer.  Board members also may be required to devote time to District matters outside of the regularly scheduled meetings, or to attend additional special meetings.   

If you are interested in being considered for appointment to the vacant Director's position, please submit a letter of interest by April 12, 2024 via email to District Administrator Mary Hartley, for consideration by the Board of Directors.
